New to Personal Retreats?
If you think personal retreats are only about yoga, meditation, or group getaways, think again. A personal retreat can be a quiet, self-led experience that you design around your own needs, interests, and pace. Explore the guides below to learn more.
My Journey to Creating
the Soul Retreat Space
As a mom, I’ve hit a few crossroads or two (okay maybe three!), and the one thing that helped me find my way forward and naturally back to myself has been personal retreating. Taking the time to catch my breath, take a pause and spend some time just listening to my soul, gave me the space (and peace) I needed to feel a little more like myself again. That quiet practice became the beginning of something bigger. Over time, I found myself turning to retreats and my love for travel, not as an escape, but as an intentional pause. Even a few days away in a different setting gave me the reset I craved and the clarity I needed which helped me remember the woman underneath my super-mom cape.
My soul searching journey began earlier than expected when….
my last child started school full-time. As a stay-at-home mom, the house suddenly felt empty — and so did I. For the first time in a long time, I had space to think about my life beyond laundry, lunches, and everyone else’s schedules.
What started as a quiet realization quickly turned into bigger questions. That realization quietly propelled me into my own soul searching journey.

It soon became my mission to understand what my soul was trying to tell me. What I did know was that I needed space to listen. So I began carving out small pockets of “me” time in the evenings, once my husband was home and the house had finally settled. In that quiet, something unexpected happened — I could hear myself again.
Over time, that quiet practice led me somewhere unexpected: retreats. Not as an escape, but as a pause. I used my personal retreat time as a way to step away, recalibrate my soul, and gain a new perspective. With every fork in the road, I knew where to turn to get the answers I was seeking—a personal retreat(preferably to my happy place: a tropical beach). And now it’s about pivoting away from a marketing career to start a travel coaching business that affords me a lifestyle that is aligned with how I want to live, work and play, as my own nest gets emptier.
The Soul Retreat Space is my ‘next’ adventure. It’s the culmination of my own journey—a blend of the guidance I leaned on, the practices that brought me back home to myself, and the soul-nourishing personal retreats I took that kept me and my life on track. It’s the space I wish I had when I began my soul-searching journey so many moons ago.
My Mission is to inspire and guide you along your own soul retreat journey so you can start creating a life that not only looks great on the outside, but feels amazing for you soul, so that when your nest is empty it won't feel so empty.

Why a Personal Retreat Is Good for the Soul
A personal retreat creates the kind of space so many women don’t realize they’ve been missing. It gives you the opportunity to:
• step away from the noise and hear your own thoughts again
• reconnect with the woman you are now — not just who you’ve needed to be
• explore what’s been quietly asking for your attention
• begin imagining what’s next in a way that feels natural and aligned
Not rushed. At your own pace. Just honest reflection, meaningful space, and a chance to reconnect with yourself again.
